LECTURE WITH LAETITIA DABLANC
The International Economic Forum in Logistics (IEFL), the logistics think tank promoted by the Public Private Sector Research Center (PPSRC) of the IESE Business School and the Barcelona-Catalunya Center Logístic, would like to invite you to its first session of the year, that will be held on February 16, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. that will be dedicated to deepening the strategies of Urban Merchandise Distribution (DUM). The focus of this session is to learn about the international experience in the application of different DUM strategies, with special attention to the challenges faced by cities with the highest urban density and the solutions that have been given to those challenges.
The academic session will be taught by prof. Laetitia Dablanc, who is the Director of Research at Gustav Eiffel University and Director of the Logistics City Chair. This chair is dedicated to research on urban logistics with a focus on two topics: urban and peri-urban real estate logistics and trends and new consumer practices and their impact on urban logistics and real estate. Prof. Dablanc is also Director to the e-commerce Observatory, an initiative of the association that forms the Logistics City Chair whose objective is to analyze the state of the art in the development of electronic commerce and its impact on companies, consumers, mobility and storage .
Finally, there will be a debate among the attendees in the form of a Q&A and a cocktail will be offered to the attendees to facilitate networking.
