Overview
The Scaleup Institute, supported by professors Thomas Klueter, Jeroen Neckebrouck, and Mª Julia Prats, develops curated applied knowledge for scaleup founders as well as a connected global ecosystem of high-growth/impact companies. It fosters insights for scaleup founders on topics such as scaling, fundraising, internationalization, leadership, ecosystem development, and more. The Institute is part of IESE’s entrepreneurial ecosystem supporting entrepreneurs, innovators, and investors.

European Innovation Council Scaling Club. The EIC Scaling Club’s mission is to grow Europe’s tech success stories. It is to be the home where 100 selected European deep-tech scale-ups, their investors and stakeholders collaborate to develop market opportunities and contribute to a better world. It will deliver six sets of services to its members over a period of 3.5 years:
– Engage investors, corporations, agencies, clusters and media and mentors.
– Grow the value of the 100 selected member companies with a venture mentoring program.
– Facilitate the financing, partnering and hiring of talent through a curated roadshow of events.
– Share the inspirational success stories of the scale-ups.
– Develop relationships with the key institutions at EU and Member States.
The Club is led by 6 complementary partners who believe that Europe is a technology and high-growth companies powerhouse with a purpose. Its deep tech scale-ups are working to solve the world’s biggest challenges.
IESE is developing 13 notes: 10 about challenge roadmaps, and 3 regarding European policy in this field.
InvestHorizon. An initiative financed by the European Commission in association with Eureka. With a consortium of seven partners, the project facilitated series A funding for selected deep-tech companies boosting their investment readiness and investor relations. The link incorporates resources for European deep-tech startups and scaleups.
