Teddy Daka 

Chief Executive Officer of Zutari and has been involved it its legacy firms (Africon, Aurecon and now Zutari) for the last 14 years.  As the previous Aurecon Global Chairperson and a long-time owner in our business, he is well versed with our market and our operations. 

With a career trajectory that spans chairing and serving on several major boards, public sector task teams and committees, Teddy is highly respected across South African businesses as an entrepreneur, business consultant and trusted advisor to both blue-chip companies and public sector entities. He has significant corporate experience as a non-executive director and corporate executive to various industries spanning defence, mining, aviation, telecommunication, infrastructure engineering, railways, information technology, cybersecurity and management consulting.

With over 17 years’ experience as a non-executive director, this includes listed and non-listed companies including private sector firms and state-owned companies as well as local and foreign multinationals based in South Africa and overseas.

Lincoln Mali is an experienced banker, business leader, speaker and author with over 25 years in the Financial Services industry. Lincoln is currently Chief Executive Officer, Southern Africa for Lesaka Technologies Inc. 

Lesaka is a Nasdaq and JSE listed company focused on Fintech in the financial inclusion space in Southern Africa. For info: www.lesakatech.com  

Lincoln made the move to Lesaka (formally Net1 U.E.P.S. Technologies, Inc.) in 2021, following his role as Head of Group Card and Payments at Standard Bank Group. In 2022, Lincoln published his book, Blazing a Trail: Lessons for African Leadership – proceeds of the sale of the book go toward funding the work of the Lincoln Mali Leadership Foundation (a not-for-profit focusing on youth upliftment and leadership development initiatives).

I have been part of the telecommunications and infrastructure industry for over 20 years. I am currently the Chief Operations Officer for American Tower Corporation, South Africa.

My role incorporates all of Service Delivery and Operations for our customers. We build and operate close to 3,000 tower communication sites serving upward of 7,000 Tenants. We pride ourselves in providing mobile broadband connectivity across South Africa. We are well-placed in Africa, based in Burkina Faso Ghana, Kenya Niger, Nigeria, Uganda, including South Africa, and pride ourselves in providing sustainable solutions for our Tower Sites in the form of Solar and Lithium-ion Batteries.

While this not only supports our emission goals, by building over 12000 solar sites with 66 MW of installed capacity by 2025, this green solution is also a primary source of power connectivity to our tower sites within Africa.  Globally we are based in 25 countries, owning 225 0000 Communication Sites with more than 6000 employees. We are headquartered in Boston USA.
