A Transcendence Approach to Leadership

In a world where both capital and talent are increasingly drawn to values and impact, the question of how we lead ourselves and others has taken on a bigger meaning.

This session explores transcendence as a pathway to personal growth and more intentional leadership. Participants will examine how to move beyond the cognitive frames, emotional patterns, and habitual behaviors that constrain how they perceive challenges, respond to situations, and imagine their future. They will then consider how this expanded space of possibility can be translated into clear goals grounded not only in achievement, but also in deeper purpose, meaning, and contribution — and explore its implications for leading themselves and enabling the growth of others.

In this session, Professor Yih-Teen Lee will offer a masterclass on "A Transcendence Approach to Leadership", and share his insights on this topic.

There will be ample opportunities for debate, on a topic that will greatly influence our day-to-day as professionals.
