IESE Future Female Leaders Award

Tuesday, January 26 - Thursday, January 28 2027 (3 Day Event)

 Awardees will receive:

• an invitation to attend IESE´s Women In Business Conference in Barcelona, January 27 2027
• attend networking events and career development sessions at IESE’s Barcelona campus as part of the 3-day agenda* 
• receive two nights’ shared hotel accommodation in Barcelona and meals** 
• flight reimbursement of up to 300 euros for awardees traveling from outside of Europe and UK.***  
• application fee waivers for those who choose to apply for IESE’s full-time MBA program.**** 
• FFLA scholarships if admitted to the full-time MBA program and are top performers in the application process. Past FFLA awardees have received scholarships ranging from 5,000 to 50,000 euros upon enrolling in the full-time MBA. 

*The full agenda for the three day event will be confirmed in December. 

**Shared hotel accommodation is only provided to participants living outside of Barcelona and its surrounding municipalities. Single rooms are available at an additional cost. 

***Awardees traveling from Europe and UK will have to cover their own travel expenses. Awardees traveling from outside of Europe and UK will be reimbursed up to 300 euros for their flights after the event. Reimbursement may take up to 2 months. 

***Being selected for the Future Female Leaders Award does not guarantee that a candidate would be admitted to any of IESE’s programs. 

 Who are we looking for?

IESE will select a small number of young professional women who embody IESE’s mission, are focused on developing their careers and on making a positive impact in the world. We are looking for women who:

• Have 2-10 years of work experience  
• Have demonstrated academic and professional excellence 
• Exemplify IESE’s values of integrity, spirit of service and excellence 
• Are committed to being actively involved in the FFLA and IESE community in the future 

IESE alumni and current students are not eligible but may nominate women who meet the criteria by completing the form in the Referrals tab.

Eligibility for this event requires that applicants are not currently enrolled in or committed to attending another business school. We kindly reserve the right to withdraw invitations should this condition not be met. 

Applications close on Wednesday, October 28 2026 at 23:59 Central European Time. Applicants will have to submit an online application consisting of a written essay and a video essay. Awardees will be notified by November 24 and will have until December 11 to submit proof of travel purchase to confirm their participation in the Barcelona events.
