A Conversation with Pedro Guazo and Prof. Fabrizio Ferraro
Join us for an engaging conversation with Pedro Guazo, former representative of the UN Secretary-General for the investment of the assets of the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund (UNJSPF). In his position, Mr. Guazo oversaw a globally diversified portfolio of over US$95 billion and has led the Fund through a major transformation toward responsible investment, transparency, and cultural renewal.
Recognized by the Responsible Asset Allocator Initiative as the Most Responsible Asset Allocator in 2021, the Fund under his leadership has advanced climate action, governance reform, and impact investing — while delivering strong financial performance.
In this session, Mr. Guazo will share insights from his journey leading one of the world’s largest institutional investors, reflect on careers in finance and the UN system, and discuss the evolving landscape of sustainable and responsible investing.
