Mediterranean economies and communities are deeply dependent on nature for their prosperity and well-being. Regenerating natural systems is one of the most powerful ways to reverse environmental degradation while strengthening resilience to climate impacts, geopolitical instability and economic pressures. It can also unlock new opportunities for job creation and investment, sustain landscapes and deliver multiple ecological and social benefits. The question is no longer why regeneration matters, but how to mobilize the entrepreneurship, partnerships and capital needed to make it happen at scale.
Invest in Nature 2026 - Regeneration for Security and Prosperity in the Mediterranean, an initiative by Nactiva and part of the Barcelona4Impact programme, will explore what nature regeneration means for the Mediterranean, with a particular focus on Catalonia. With its natural assets, talent, land, entrepreneurial culture and institutional capacity, Catalonia has the potential to become one of Europe’s leading regenerative bioregions. The forum aims to build momentum, connect key actors and catalyze the alliances and investment needed to turn this opportunity into action.
The event will take place on October 16th, at IESE South Campus.
It will be held in English. No simultaneous translation will be provided.
