Dear Friend,
Join us for an exclusive evening exploring how finance can drive Europe’s competitiveness, innovation, and growth.
We are delighted to welcome Thomas Kusstatscher, Chief Financial Officer and Chief of Strategy at the European Investment Fund (EIF). As a bridge between policymakers and market players, the EIF plays a key role in helping SMEs access the financing they need to launch ideas, scale their businesses, and strengthen Europe’s competitiveness. Thomas will share insights into the institution’s mission, strategy, and the financing solutions that make this possible.
We are also pleased to welcome IESE Professor Christian Eufinger. Professor Eufinger, whose expertise focuses on banking, corporate finance, and financial intermediation, with particular emphasis on banking regulation and bank capital structure, will bring an academic perspective to the discussion.
How can Europe improve access to financing for innovative companies and strengthen its competitiveness? In a conversation with IESE Professor Christian Eufinger and Thomas Kusstatscher, CFO and Chief of Strategy at the European Investment Fund (EIF), will discuss the challenges facing European SMEs and startups, the role of the EIF in mobilizing private capital, and what it takes to help European businesses grow and scale.
