Evento Híbrido. Campus Barcelona + online
Transitioning from a startup to a scale-up requires building a scalable and repeatable business model. It involves professionalizing the organization, industrializing sales and operations, maintaining financial discipline, staying strategically focused, and developing the ability to expand internationally.
Topics to be discussed include:
• Aggressive growth vs. financial discipline
• How to approach fundraising rounds
• Which type of investor is most appropriate at each stage
• When is the right time to expand internationally?
The session will open with Carlos Reines, entrepreneur and Harvard MBA, who co-founded RubiconMD in the United States — a company that was ultimately acquired by Oak Street Health. We will also hear the venture capital perspective from Josep Lluis Sanfeliu (Asabys).
Finally, the panel discussion will explore these and other topics through three different success stories. Lily Chen co-founded Insight Lifetech, a medtech company specializing in cardiovascular diseases that went public on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in February 2026. Carlos Manubens co-founded Livo in 2023 to address the shortage of nursing professionals through technology. Pablo Nueno has led the growth of Olistic, positioning it as a leading brand in the hair health sector.
