Event open to the greater Alumni Community.
Kick off the year with the Africa Business Club and IESE’s Africa Initiative for an evening exploring innovation, investment and market building across Africa. The event is open to students, alumni and the broader IESE community.
Join us for a conversation with two leaders working at the intersection of infrastructure, capital and entrepreneurship. Ayodeji Balogun, group CEO of AFEX, has helped build commodity-exchange infrastructure in Nigeria and across Africa, connecting farmers, traders and businesses. Uyi Oigiagbe (MBA-23) brings the perspective of a single-family office investing across the continent, with a focus on identifying and scaling high-potential businesses.
Moderated by professor Yuliya Snihur, the conversation will explore what it takes to build durable, investable business models in emerging markets, how capital can unlock growth and where the next wave of opportunity is emerging across Africa.
A networking reception will follow, offering an opportunity to continue the conversation, connect with the IESE community and learn more about the Africa Business Club and the Africa Initiative – and how you can get involved.
