Please join us for an upcoming IESE Alumni & Friends breakfast in London - a special occasion that will bring together IESE alumni, friends, and business leaders from the United Kingdom and beyond. This is a unique opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and engage in thoughtful discussions in one of the world's most dynamic cities.
We are honored to host Rafael Guerra, who will discuss "Leadership in Action". Rafael Guerra's naval career began at the Naval Academy in August 1987. By 2004, as Lt Commander, he was appointed executive officer on board "Reina Sofía" frigate, rising during other posting to Navy Captain in 2019.
His shore assignments include periods with NATO Maritime Command Northwood, High Readiness Maritime Forces Headquarters in the UK, and Branch Head Naval Aviation at the Spanish Navy HQ. In August 2024, Captain Guerra was designated Defence Attaché at the Spanish Embassy with responsibility for UK, Ireland and Norway.
