The world is in a period of transition. The tumultuous events of the past two years signal an end to “business as usual”. Combined with long-term megatrends such as climate change and the energy transition, global demographic shifts, a rethink of globalization and a unipolar global geopolitical system, today’s crises are reshaping the world as we knew it.

Africa can be a key part of the solution to many of the fundamental problems afflicting the world today. The African continent is richly endowed with natural resources and a growing population. Africa is considered the world´s growth epicenter of the future, and resolving the world’s critical dilemmas lies in activating Africa’s central role in these issues.
